Description
Description:
Rotala wallichii
A slow growing red plant.
Characteristic:
Rotala walichii
Planting site: Background
Origin: Asia
Height: Up to 40 cm
Lighting: Strong
CO2: Necessary
A beautiful species of the genus Rotala. Needle-shaped, delicate leaves are red in color. The plant should not be planted too densely due to the sensitivity of the lower parts of the stem to a lack of light. Due to the relatively low growth rate, planting alongside fast-growing, invasive species should be avoided. Strong light and liquid and CO2 fertilization are essential for good growth. The beautiful, unique and delicate nature of this plant is a sufficient reward for the hardships of breeding.
Take the plant out of the cup and rinse it thoroughly under running water. Then divide into small (1-2 cm) tufts and plant them out in short distances. As it grows, it will create a homogeneous group of adult plants.
Plant from invitro culture – free from snails, parasites and algae. A high-quality liquid gel was used as the medium, thanks to which it is quickly absorbed in the aquarium.
